The U.S. vs. John Lennon : Geraldo Rivera? Really?
Re: Geraldo Rivera? Really?
Completely agreed. They had Cronkite and Vidal yet they had to throw that idiot in the mix.
Re: Geraldo Rivera? Really?
Geraldo was working for ABC7 (same as Alan Weiss) when John died. He was interviewed on WABC radio that night and was completely different from what you'd think. He wasn't just "there." He was a personal friend of Yoko and John including during the very rough immigration court fight.
The concert shown in Sometime in New York City was organized by Geraldo. It was a fundraiser to get public awareness and raise money to help the victims of the Willowbrook asylum and its gruesome conditions, shown in Geraldo's massive TV exposé in '72.
It's the Overlord! He's dead. …I guess he forgot how to live.

Oh, sure. But the suckage was in suspension (along with so much else) that night.

Geraldo Rivera? Really?
Why in Christ's name do you put that moron in your movie?
He's an absolute joke. Yes, he was there during the times being discussed in this documentary. So were many, many others. Talk to them, not to some blowhard buffoon who doesn't know whether to scratch his watch or wind his butt.
Consequently, percentage points had to be docked from my rating.
I'm tough but fair.
