Wouldn't that be playing identity politics? Look at somebody like Thomas Sowell, still going strong at 90 years of age.
I do agree with you that most people's cognitive ability suffers as they get older, but to block a person's right to stand is probably not the way to go about it. The electorate should vote more responsibly and should recognize that a man like Biden is not fit for office.
We need less laws and regulations and a more reasonable, responsible electorate.

Yes. The defining moment for me was when Parler was cancelled. That should have terrified everyone, but it seemingly didn't.

I don't know if Biden is suffering dementia. I actually doubt it. But we need younger more vigorous leadership.
But that being said, it's a democracy, so let the voters decide. A Constitutional age limit would be anti-democratic. It might also be a form of "ageist" discrimination since not all 78 year olds are senile.

It's really not age, it's mental condition. I talked to my uncle recently. He's 97 and completely lucid. He shares a not-so-secret advantage with other nonagenarians. He's been dancing all his life. He and his wife opened a dance studio when he was about 25. He taught ballroom dancing and has kept at the dancing ever since. No, he's not still teaching and has outlived his wife.
