I agree and disagree at the same time.

I'm a DC fan but not generally a fan of the fantasy-oriented big-budget DC-verse. As far as Batman, I like the low-budget indie vibe of Joker, and crime drama of The Dark Knight, the film noir of Batman 89.

However, with that said, if these exist, Zack Snyder should do them, and they should have a Watchmen vibe to them, mixed with some Sin City & Doctor Sleep. Mix the fantasy with darkness and bloodshed and vivid cinematography that Snyder can do so well. Distance from Marvel as much as possible.

Fuck yeah, I’m all for any new cut of a film that undermines a studios stupid business decision to totally butcher it in the first place.

Fuck the Leto hater’s - I’d like to see another 3 minutes of his Joker.

Maybe people wouldn’t hate his portrayal so much if they’d release Ayers original cut of Suicide Squad *fingers crossed*

I'm in the minority but I wouldn't mind a Trank cut of Fantastic Four. The first 30 minutes of that movie were great.

I actually want to see a JJ Abrams cut of "STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER" if there really is one (there have been rumors about that).

Supposedly, Kathleen Kennedy removed a lot of footage from Episode 9 after it was finished (Now I don't know if any of these are indeed true or not but supposedly, 1 of the things that she took out of the Movie was an appearance from Hayden Christensen in it. Also supposedly, Matt Smith was also going to be in the Movie but his footage was taken out of it as well) and ready to go.

Batman is the only marketable character DC owns. And they threw that right out the window with Ben Affleck.

I agree. The issue is that Batman's success depends on that his films are a different genre than other comic book films, crime thrillers, and he's a dark and somewhat grounded character with grounded stores.

You can't throw Bale's Batman, or Pattinson's or Keaton's Batman into a Justice League universe without ruining the character.

By the same token, you can't have Joaquin Phoenix's Joker team up with Darkseid and Cheetah in Joker 2 without hurting the character.

And a solo Affleck film wouldn't work because his Batman already tied to this epic universe. You can't go from Justice League atmosphere to The Dark Knight atmosphere with the same Batman.

The solution is to have two universes simultaneously. One Batman solo, presumably Pattinson's Batman, with movies like Joker and TDK. And one Justice League universe, with Affleck.

It's already better than every Marvel movie. This will be incredible!

That's a pretty strong thing to say.

I myself am not going to judge the Snyder Cut until I see it.

I have a very strong suspicion that if The Snyder Cut turns out to be Fantastic then a heck of a lot of people (including myself) are going to start calling for Director's Cuts of lots of other Movies.

I wonder if The Joker will only have just 1 scene in the Snyder Cut.

If he does only have 1 scene in it then I think that a lot of people may be disappointed by it. I think that The Joker should at the very least have 2 or 3 scenes in the Snyder Cut.
