No it's just looks and sexual attraction is about as subjective as you can get. Also don't rule out the sexual orientation aspect. What homos and heteros find appealing may differ.
For example, as a hetero, I would think Obama over ODB would be the natural inclination. Of course it's subjective. But compare Melania to Laura Bush or Hillary Clinton. Neither Ms Bush nor Ms Clinton were beasts. But few would call them "hot".

Melania is one of the few First Ladies who has a very strong case for "hotness". To cavalierly say "nah, she hasn't been one of the great beauties in the limelight well before she was First Lady" is just disingenuous.

She really has the quirky exotic look which photographers seek out in models.

I like Jacky for Jacky. To me, she is a completely separate entity from JFK. I just so happened to like JFK as well, but that has no influence over my like for Jacky and her accomplishments and aesthetics.

Additionally, I think Nancy Reagan did amazing work and was quite the looker in her younger years despite my disagreements with many of Ronald's policies.

On the flip side, I liked many of Obama's policies, but did not find Michelle to be physically attractive. She was an accomplished and active First Lady, but not someone I ever looked at and thought to be pretty.

Back to the topic of the current first lady, I do not find Melania attractive. I also think that she has accomplished nothing to better the lives of the American people. I also happen to disagree with her husband's policies, but as shown above, I do not lump together the First Lady and President.

Jacky Onassis became a bigger than life character. I personally don't think she was a great beauty. But she was a dramatic character beginning with that famous scene where she's crawling over the car seat after her husband was assassinated. Add to that the paparazzi pics of her in mysterious shades and lounging on her Greek island. Jacky was definitely the most interesting First Lady ever if not the most attractive.

I associate Nancy Reagan with "Just Say No" and her husband's redbaiting in the 1950's McCarthy era. I really see her as villainous.

Personal tastes come into play. But regardless of what we think about Melania Trump's appearance, she made a living off her looks and sexuality before she met Trump. Objectively in that regard, she can be called a very attractive woman. No other first lady was ever a celebrated fashion model.
