I don't know if it is the same place but I remember reading years ago that Stephen King and his wife stayed at a hotel and they were the only patrons at the hotel restaurant one night when they went there for a meal. This unusual experience is similar to a scene from the vampire movie DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS where a honeymooning couple are the only ones in a hotel restaurant -

If you're curious and plan on someday visiting The Stanley hotel, whatever you do, don't go in the summertime. A friend stayed there a few years ago and he said it had no A/C and was as hot as an oven.
