Vanderpump Rules : Saw a Drunk James on Robertson yesterday

Haven't been in L.A. in 5 years and my first day back, I was walking North on Robertson from Melrose and just as I passed Sur, I see James walking toward me, arms flailing about and clearly drunk, accompanied by some barfly girl who looked like she was totally clueless and he said, "We'll just Go there for ONE drink and leave." He is taller than I thought and even more of a mess than he is on TV.

How tall is he? He looks about 5'11 at least.

I think he looks about 6'2" because Kristen is 5'9" and sometimes wears heels and he's always a bit taller.

No he's probably about 5'11 or 6 ft. Kristen doesn't always wear the heels. Heels can be as low as 2 inches

No. I was taking into account heels and without shoes and relative height to other people on the show. The OP said he seemed taller than expected. Someone under 6' could hardly seem to stand out as being tall.

On the show he looks more like 5'9. He is probably 6 ft or something or close to it. He doesn't have to be any taller than that. Even I am taller than Kristen.

You are only about an inch taller than Kristen.

Part of that is my fault. I know that he loves to lie about his height and that he's also really insecure about it, and will never shut up about it once he starts, so I have a habit of waking that bear whenever he starts being annoying. Or more annoying. Sorry. It's like picking at a scab.

Ah hagotcha. Now that I think about it, I believe we talked about this some time ago! Maybe it was a Housewife board?? AnywhoIf I recall, there were some rude comments said to you regrading tall women. I'm pretty sure the comment was around a 6' man "towering" over most women. I think you simply mentioned that for a tall woman, a 6' man certainly wouldn't "tower" over a female. That seemed to set him off. You were perfectly respectful in what you said, he just didn't seem to like your opinion.

Hahaha, yeah. It was maybe the Below Deck board? I remember a few times where it came up there, but he brings it up so much, that it's hard to keep track. It usually revolves around him insisting that he's tall and me saying that, in my opinion, he is not tall TO ME, and then him trying to change my opinion which will never happen ever and me wondering why he cares about how short I think he is. Rinse. Repeat.

That sounds familiar!! I think it sticks out in my mind because his responses to other posters stating opinions, and respectfully disagreeing are usually so rude.

It seems like the best as far as organization and tracking discussions goes. If you scroll down you'll see the VPR board. Anyway, I hope to see you there. It seems a little quiet now, but once these boards go, it should pick up.
