The Fosters : Brandon comment to jude

Brandon comment to jude

It is funny how brandon told jude he was acting like an ass and missed the nice kid he used to be. However i am surprised jude didnt retort by saying says the screwup.

Re: Brandon comment to jude

Lol, Jude definitely dropped the ball on that one. I like Brandon, but he's in no position to judge.

Re: Brandon comment to jude

When things go wrong, brandon screws around with callie so calling out jude on his behavior makes him a hippocrite when all he is doing is smoking pot not banging a foster sister.

THIS.^^^ Brandon is in no position to judge anyone. The saying "Oh, how the mighty have fallen." comes to mind in Brandon's case. At the start of the show he was a "boy scout", but through the course of the show he has completely spiraled downward. At this point he is basically the black sheep of the family now, and his judgement as well as his decision making is extremely questionable at this point.

Callie does make some really dumb decisions very often, but I think it's unfair for viewers to rip on her the way they do. She is the only one of the Foster-Adams (or is it Adams-Foster?) kids that actually goes out and genuinely tries to help other people. Mariana is pretty much a selfish b**** and acts like a spoiled brat most of the time. She is far to young to be acting like such a diva. What has she ever accomplished in her life that gives her the right to act like her s*** don't stink? And Jesus is practically a man-whore, but viewers absolutely praise these two all the while dumping on Callie for her "stupidity".

Remember, Callie never really had a proper upbringing. Since the age of 10 she has been through hell and back, and it's only now that she actually ended up in a stable and loving home. And even then things still go horribly wrong for her. Is it any wonder why she might not be as emotionally or mentally developed as someone her age should be? If you haven't done so already you guys should go and watch a TV show called "Rectify". That show gives a perfect example of how being locked up can impede emotional, mental, and social development.

Re: Brandon comment to jude

finally someone who post on this board that gets it! I get tired of all the Callie hate. I haven't watched since S3A so don't know what drama she's caused other than reading these forums. But I always liked Callie because at least all of her mistakes are because she actually tries to help others. Yeah it always goes bad, but at least she care about more than just herself. The rest of the kids just seem like spoiled, selfish, brats.

Re: Brandon comment to jude

My first thought was is that what Brandon plans to tell his girl friend's kid when he grows up and isn't what Brandon wants him to be?

Provided they're ever together that long.

Re: Brandon comment to jude

It does appear Brandon's statement to Jude at least had some effect, as Jude ended up getting up early the next morning and washed the dishes. It will be interesting to see if the message sticks and Jude stops smoking weed with Noah all the time (and whether it will affect the Joah relationship).

Has Brandon made some horrible mistakes? Absolutely, but someone needed to call Jude out on his crap. I miss that nice kid too
