I like the humor in the 1st and 2nd seasons. The 3rd of course is the spy series, but I miss the quirky parts.

They took an excellent hit series and ruined it. The "Secret Agent" episodes are unwatchable.

Yes, they had a winning formula for Burke's Law, then ruined it by making it a spy show. The light touch, common on Four Star series, was gone. It wasn't maybe one of the great classic era TV shows, but it was a very good, highly entertaining one. One more black and white season might have given it more episodes for its enjoying a longer, maybe even cult syndication; or maybe, better still, one color season, just for luck.
