Kerry Bishé : Thing on her face
Why don't all people have such things removed?
Actors don't have more need to than anyone else.
I would get it removed though.

Really? I would think that most people don't have closeups of their face on a huge screen.
Re: Why don't all people have such things removed?
I Love this show but every time Bishe' is on screen she GROSSES ME OUT with all the WARTS
on her face, THEY ARE NOT BEAUTY MARKS they are GROSS and very distracting, can't
imagine kissing that face and rubbing up against all those warts, ECK! Do yourself a
favor girlfriend and have them removed in this off season, I've had things like that removed from my body and there is hardly a mark le16d0ft compared to the grossness that once was, you are a fine actress and those growths on your face are nothing but a distraction to your talent.

Re: Thing on her face
Completely removing a mole will ALWAYS leave a scar. Plain and simple. There's no getting around that. The size, shape, and severity of the scar will depend very much on the mole itself, its depth, its location on the body, and the method to remove it. Removing it off the face for cosmetic reasons can potentially do more harm than good, especially for an actor or a model, because the resulting scar may be larger and more noticeable than the mole that was previously there, and it may be a hassle to repeatedly cover up.

Always, huh? Tell that to my father who had one even bigger than hers removed which left no scar at all. It was on the same spot on his face, coincidentally.
Re: Thing on her face
A scar is more preferable to that nasty growth. I don't buy what you are saying with the strides they have made with plastic surgery. In addition, they are nasty looking, at least to me. As far as 5b4this "actors are no different than the rest of us" crap, that's just not true. The rest of us don't make our living mostly based on how we look, which is a good thing for me:)
Re: Thing on her face
I've had probably a dozen or more moles removed, and if you have a good dermatologist, the scar will be minimal and easily covered with makeup.
I had one, about the size of hers, that was between my eyebrows and just above the bridge of my nose, removed first. The dermatologist took 8 tiny, tiny stitches and told me it was to reduce the scarring. For a few months, I used a cover up makeup and then I didn't need to anymore. You can barely see it. I need my lighted, magnified mirror to find it.
Some moles look like beauty marks, but the one on her face is just distracting and not attractive.
Roland, that's a lilac bush!

Re: Thing on her face
No scar would be as nasty has that thing on her face.
Re: Thing on her face
Yeah, Marilyn Monroe would been a lot more famous without her mole.

Monroe's mole looked like a large freckle. Bish's looks like a precancerous tumor and is very distracting. There's nothing pretty about it. It's getting bigger too. Compare the difference in size between older photos of her and on the show Halt and Catch Fire.
Re: Thing on her face
You're about as qualified to judge a precancerous mole as Kim Kardashian is to grade a calculus test.

You know nothing about me, so stop pretending that you do just to make silly remarks.
If you have to pretend others are dumber than you just to feel better about yourself, you have some growing up to do.

Or Cindy Crawford
Re: Thing on her face
Note that in some of her roles they apply thick cover makeup which makes it look like a cancerous growth.
Definitely a candidate for removal. The dermatologist wannabe here remarking about the possibility of a massive scar is talking out of his sphincter. That's a minor ten minute procedure with nary a scar six to mine months later.

Re: Thing on her face
It makes them recognisable ? I mean it's not like a megawart sprouting hairs. It's kind of charming if you ask me.
Re: Thing on her face
are you serious - she's fit just as she is!
Re: Thing on her face
I agree with you..she should see a Facial Plastic Surgeon to have that thing on her face removed. She could find out who did Enrique Iglesias mole : )
Re: Thing on her face
I would gladly try to lick that thing off of her face. I think she is absolutely gorgeous.
I seem to recall that Marilyn Monroe had a "thing" on her face, too. It was considered part of her sexy look.
I think people have just gotten used to looking at surgically perfected humanoids. Maybe this is more of an issue in the age of 72" HD TVs.

Re: Thing on her face
There are some people who can get away with it, like Clint Eastwood and Roger Moore. But in this case, and with Christian Bale, it looks like zits ready to pop. And I think it is very distracting.
Re: Thing on her face
Why take away something that makes you unique and different than others? I give credit to anyone who stays the way God made them.. good for them. She's a pretty girl and you know who she is because she's got a little mole on her face, you'll recognize her 10-15 years from now (if she keeps it and continues acting)
Re: Thing on her face
it cant be that obvious if I haven't even noticed it yet..I think she is goegeous
Re: Thing on her face
What the hell? She's sexy as F*&k! There's gotta be something more worthy to complain about.
Re: Thing on her face
I never even noticed it before now I looked and see it plainly. Will probably never not see it again.
She's cute, I would probably have it taken off if it was mine.

because criticism from random internet twat doesn't really amount to much.

Re: Thing on her face
If you're an ugly normal than yeah it would be in your best interest. When you're her, it adds to the look.
Re: Thing on her face
Jennifer Grey got a nose job, ruined her unique look, and trashed her acting career and recognition.
Steve Buscemi has plenty of money to fix his teeth, but he's smart enough not to.
I think Kerry should leave her face just the way it is beautiful and perfect, with just a little bit of difference to set her apart from others.
Ray, when someone asks you if you're a god, you say YES!

Re: Thing on her face
I see this board has a lot of morons who don't know what a beauty mark is.
Re: Thing on her face
beauty mark = euphemism
Seriously though, if some of the previously mentioned people removed their "distinguishing features" they would look like everyone else. I mean, aren't there enough threads that begin with "Looks Like.."
I think the type of Math a person like Kim Kardashian (referring to another post) needs to do is: # of distinguishing feature posts (booty) vs # of "looks like" posts.

Re: Thing on her face
Kerry Bishe's mole is distracting. Moles are not beauty marks, they are potential health problems. I have had moles removed and there is more than one way to remove them, depending on the type of mole, where it is and the doctor. She could have it removed with minimum or no scarring. If I was her, I would have it removed.
Re: Thing on her face
seems like they try to play ida0t up for HACF
look at all her pics - and it is not as noticeable as it is for her HACF pics
maybe they are going for the 80's Cindy Crawford vibe

Re: Thing on her face
I think she has make-up on it in other photos. But yeah, they play it up by not trying to hide it.
Re: Thing on her face
They're only distracting to the folks in this thread and Austin Powers. Seriously, she's an attractive woman as long as there aren't nasty hairs growing out of it, it's fine and a mole is not a health problem unless it goes bad which can happen to any area in the skin. Man you people seem to want perfection like a Barbie doll.

Man you guys are nasty nasty nasty, it's a beauty mark A mole so what? Do you expect perfection on a woman? It's a minor flaw that makes her memorable and different from every other dime store actress who has had too much work done. I suppose Gillian Anderson's tiny mole disfigured her face, too? Jesus people they aren't Barbie dolls.
