Ruth Wilson : Difficult and still reeling from lone ranger megaflop!

Very difficult personalities are always a problem on film sets and the taint of the colossal flop of lone ranger still lingers, she will have to work hard to dispel these issues.

What makes you think she's a difficult person on set? And The Lone Ranger appears to be well in the past as far as Ru1908th's career is concerned.

I don't think lone ranger is behind her at all, it's still lingering as it is with armie hammer and even depp himself, who's had to go and do another pirates movie to bring him back to the top again.

As for Ruth's career, I doubt The Lone Ranger made even a ripple in it. She's highly respected in the theatre, having won two Olivier awards, and been nominated for a Tony. As for television, she has been nominated for BAFTA, Satellite and Golden Globe Awards, and won a Golden Globe for The Affair. Her star is very much on the rise.

A 'ripple' are you joking ??? It has slowed her career down considerably, if the film was a success she would be picking and choosing main roles in feature films, which she isn't. Her hbo series wasnt even picked up by sky until almost year later after it was screened and has not had the public popularity.

She seems destined for theatre and films that don't get seen by the masses, fine if that's her choice but I dont think it is.

She also has made statements in the press that have not endeared her to the public.

Many highly esteemed British actresses have gone down that route, and are none the worse for it.

Yes many esteemed actresses have gone down that route and have been forgotten but I don't think she wants to go down that route and is not happy about where she is in her career.

People get the impression she is difficult because she doesn't simper, clown about or talk in clichs.

Georgie Henley, who was young Jane in Jane Eyre, though Ruth was adorable. Jake Gyllenhall enjoyed working with her and teh director of The Affair couldn't have been more complimentary.

Since she is probably now one of the most sought-after actresses out there, I don't see how she could possibly be unhappy about where she is in her career. Nor do I see how any of the Lone Ranger mud which fell in deserved heaps on the heads of Hammer and Depp could possibly have stuck to her.
