House of Cards : I am Bored as hell this season

A few eps in and I am bored as hell this new season. Claire has to be the worst thing about this show, I can only hope she dies at the end of this season cause she is a dry old bitch with no flavor.

Why is this relevant? Millions of other folks love this show.

Isn't this Message Board intended to provide a common place for IMDbers to express their likes, dislikes, their views about a film or show, which actors they like/dislike, etc, etc, etc. ???

The truth is, by posting on this site, each of us essentially acknowledges that we do care about other posters' thoughts and observations, though we may not agree with their comments. And, in turn, we assume that many readers we lost our own views and queries, perhaps hoping others may share our view or have a different, interesting viewpoint that we hadn't thought of as yet. In any case, it's a discussion among people sharing a common interest.

Putting down or dismissing the OP's comments is silly and fruitless. They are free to share their views that's what we do on the Message Boards but you don't have to agree with them. Just because YOU don't care about their perspective doesn't mean other IMDb posters don't care.

Basically, the OP didn't post outrageous or particularly rude comments. They simply voiced their frustrations about the show. I haven't seen this season's episodes but the storyline s of many of these types of series become bogged down after a few seasons. Perhaps the OP feels that is what has happened to this show in his/her OPINION. So be it!

I thought the first few episodes of Season 4 were boring as well, but it starts to pick up after that. The last few episodes of the season are some of the best in the entire series.

I loved the second half more than the first and the final episode blew me away. I'd say continue watching!

I totally agree with you I have been really struggling this season to stay interested. Just finished episode 10, and I've noticed I almost have to make myself sit down and watch an episode, not the case with the other seasons.

I'm four in and have to agree the Claire drama is tedious.

I'm a guy who usually loves slow burn storytelling. Must be that I just don't like the character much.

Each season has been worse in some ways with more and more boring me. It's okay. There are better shows.

You're not alone in that. A few more people are getting brave and speaking out against this show lol. It's a pretty dull TV Series, iv'e tried to like it.
