I'll say just this (for now) - Rooney's TSN performance in now maybe my favorite female supporting performance of the decade (don't judge me harsh because I ranked TSN only as fifth on my ToC list; I know you're secretly angry on me but it was only because her performances in TSN and Her are small so I gave advantage to her leading roles. That's literally the only reason).

I was really upset and chagrined , a lot more than Diane Ladd last year when she found out that "Leading Lady Staw Rooney Moore" who won Best Actress in "Carn" was being campaigned in her "Oscar category of Best Suppawting"

So Denzel just won SAGs. I knew an upset was coming. The Oscars are going to be interesting. Still think Casey's ahead of him though, even if it's not by a lot.

1 out of 2 is not bad, there's still more to come BTW, I'm glad for those actors that spoke their minds about Trump's immigration order.

I was right. Denzel is still force to be reckoned with. If he wins his third Oscar it's very possible that we'll see three black actors as winners which never happened. That would be a nice record but I still think Casey is frontrunner (can't say which performance is better , I haven't seen Fences).

Yea I was wrong about Ryan, Denzel's back in the race seems like. But it's still Casey's to lose. Even if SAGs is the most important precursor Casey has swept the rest of the awards. He still has a good shot, me thinks.

I was really surprised at Denzel winning, despite Casey winning basically everything for Manchester. I was also surprised by Emma winning, I thought for sure Natalie would get it. Now I guess the oscar for actress, is Natalie, Emma or Isabelle?

SAGs, I feel was Natalie's only real shot at winning something. There's a possibility that she can happen at BAFTA, But that won't make much of a difference at the Oscars. SAGs is the most important precursor for Oscars as the organisation contains the most Academy Award voters. And now that Emma won it, I think she'll take the Oscar home as well. The Best Actor category on the other hand is nail biting. Very curious to see how that ends.

I knew Natalie won't win. Simply, there isn't much love for Jackie this season. Shame, because she and Isabelle5b4 deserve award more.

I don't know what is wrong with those people. Are Hacksaw Ridge or Hidden Figures really bigger art than Jackie ?

Hidden Figures is really good, It definitely deserves all of the awards attention. However, Ridge on the other hand.. It's another war movie, I'm sure the academy has seen enough of them.

I honestly don't know what to think a1354bout it. Victims aren't usually taken seriously by people, so I usually try to give their side of the story more importance until someone proves otherwise. I don't know, I just feel obligated to as people love to shift blame on victims than defend them. On the other hand I would like to know Casey's side of the story as well, I know he's never going to talk about it, but I would need that to have a real opinion about the whole thing. I truly hope he's not in the wrong. It would be really sad if he was as I'm a big fan.

Indiewire has come out with their list of the best of Sundance. Ghost is second, right behind Call me by your Name. But the funny thing is in their acting category on the critics poll Roons is heavily placed in supporting. Am I the only one who thought both Roons and Casey were Co-Leads?
