Bees!! Not the bees!! The remake was a hoot, nothing like the original, I could never take Cage seriously after this movie, it was so bad

I'm going to avoid the remake. I'm not a Nic Cage fan; he usually overacts, to my taste.
As to the music, I really liked some of the harmonies, and will try to find "Gently Johnny." I'd like to hear the whole thing.
Also, "The Landlord's Daughter" was a hoot!

Very smart move. I concur. Nic Cage is awful. I watched the remake first and it was horrible. Almost made me not want to watch the original, but I'm glad I did. Wish I had never seen the remake.

This thread is comparing the original "Wicker Man" released in 1973, the last golden decade of American film, to a POS released via Hollywood circa 2006. C'mon people, get real.

What hippie music? Hippie music is what is known as acid rock. Such as bands like the Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Doors and Santana. There is no hippie music in TWM.
