The Amityville Horror : two things that bug me about this movie every time i see it
Re: two things that bug me about this movie every time i see it
The house or whatever was possessing the house was evil. Jody probably took the money and hid it. Notice how the jacket moved when it was on the couch.
The weird neighbor with the beer was kind of odd. Notice how he was scratching at the door and when Cathy saw him, she immediately locked it. When the phone rang and she came back to the door and found him gone, it's quite possible that he saw something or heard something that spooked him out.

I often wonder if the guy at the door was even real in the first place. Perhaps Jodie has a bag of tricks up her sleeve?
