Doctor Who : Anthony Stewart Head

Anthony Stewart Head

Do you reckon he'd make a good next Doctor? or in an alternate reality where Doctor Who wasn't cancelled and continued into the 1990's, do you think he would have been good then?

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

Yes, he'd have been marvellous but I think he's too old now, they should go youthful next time.

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

Why?
63 is not "too old" and there is no reason that the actor portraying the character should be in his 20's or 30's.

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

I hope "youthful" means someone 35-40s. I can't stand another young, dashing sexy Doctor.

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

No. I am a big fan of his but I don't know I just don't think he'd be naturally eccentric enough. IMO you need an actor who is a big presence and obviously a good actor like obviously Tom Baker and Matt Smith.

Tony Head would have been superb as the Master on the other hand.

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

He can be silly and fun, but he tends to play on the more serious side like Pertwee's Doctor. Though he would make an excellent Master now that you mention it. If a Krillitane can take on his form, why can't Missy?

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

I was saying they should have had him as The Master from the beginning. I loved him in School Reunion, but they really should have saved him to bring back The Master.

Re: Anthony Stewart Head

Tom Baker a good actor that is the best laugh out loud I've had this year.

I thought the same about Matt Smith
