Well, taking into context that Amy and the rest had witnessed the creature kill Madame Zena, and it had also killed Richie and Liz along with its father's help, (though Amy didn't know that Liz was dead at this stage), and that it was still after her and Buzz, I think it is really a fair enough comment to make.

Those kids paid one heck of a price to go on that ride and trespassing like they did, and Amy would have also been paying for the rest of her life too.
