An Officer and a Gentleman : The dance scene

The dance scene

Totally lame-o; first, how do two white trash locals get an invite to a stuffy Navy dance? Second, do such dances even exist? Third, Zach and Sid act like a couple of sophomores at their first high school soc hop; standing there and making immature comments.

Re: The dance scene

no problem with that scene

it was a clever plot device where these 2 couples meet up to serve the purpose of the rest of the drama

Re: The dance scene

Well of course it was a devised plot device, but that doesn't make it any less lame or reality.

Also, the white trash goes through a reception line and the admiral's wife pimps them to Sid and Zack? Funny as hell.
