Friday the 13th: Part III : Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

Seemed she was just finally starting to warm up to the guy right before her death. If he could have kept himself in check, not acted like a brat and, most importantly, lived (Vera as well), do you think they would've eventually hooked up?

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

Not a chance in hell. Not only was Shelly immature, he was fat, dorky looking, and worst of all - he had a PERM. No way a hot piece of ass like Vera would ever fall for a buffoon sporting a PERM.

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

I hope not lol.

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

I'm glad that scene with Vera (who I thought was just beautiful) looking through Shelly's wallet happened, but in the end, I still don't think she would've gone all the way with Shelly. For what it's worth, I thought the actors (Catherine Parks & Larry Zemer) had good chemistry.

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

No. Even if she HAD wanted, Shelly would have done something to screw it up.

Call me Snake.

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

if any of you have seen the show Red Oaks, the character Wheeler is basically our new remake version of Shelley, and, he gets the hot girl (who is even hotter than the Vera character) - the dude can't swim, he sells drugs at the country club, but he's got modern mackin' skills

anyways, what i would have liked to see happen:
Shelly's game was coming on strong in the 2nd half of the movie. Vera sees the wallet, sees Shelley with the women in his life, Vera knows Shelley might not be the bad boy, but is quite the catch, in other ways that she hasn't let herself explore yet. Shelley starts coming around to the idea of just staying calm, not overdoing it, and believing in himself.

So - alternate Shelley - he starts noticing that things are awfully quiet, he finally does notice this hulking freak in the barn, and he gets Vera's attention, quietly. She tells him to hold on - he says "forget it, we've got bigger problems - follow me, we've got to get out of here"

They head back to the cabin - Jason sees them heading towards the house. Everyone is dead, that is when we see Chris coming back into the house when the storm/wind is picking up. He sets the house on fire. He tells the girls to leave and to head to the flea market where they first encountered the biker gang. After he sees them making it into the woods, he puts a brick on the pedal of the van and sends it crashing into the barn.

Shelley starts heading for the store . . .when he arrives, the cops are already there. The two girls are safe.

Chris: Boy, I could use a vacation.
Vera: Me too

both women smile at Shelley

Vera: Want to make it 3?

The nerd gets BOTH girls. He then became known as Leisure Suit Shelley, lost some weight, and has been hitting the beach resorts ever since - you and I know him as Larry.

THE END.

Who would you rather have on top of your automobile - Tawny Kitaen or Julie Carmen?

Re: Would Vera have eventually given it up for Shelly?

Only way Shelly was ever gonna tap Vera's ass is if he pulled a Bill Cosby by putting a roofie in her drink.
