Black Mirror : San Junipero… did I miss something?

I was expecting something to happen with (or a revelation regarding) the fellow who was always hanging out around the video games and trying to get Yorkie's attention. Did they ever mention him outside of San Junipero or did he have some revelation or role that I missed?

The way he kept popping up, I expected there to be something come of it (ala Greg).

Nope. Just some guy I think, didn't know his crush was a lesbian. Loved his line about Bubble Bobble early in the episode though, talking in past tense about how it was the first game to include alternate endings in 1 & 2 player modes a subtle clue.

And then he asks her to play a car game and right when she notices the car flip she jerks away and exclaims she doesn't want to play. Noticed that one

I get the sense that the colored woman (forgive me for not recalling her name) was pretty much bisexual, I suppose until she and Yorkie got involved. But who knows how long that would have lasted?

The guy in the video arcade kind of reminded me of the woman in 50 Million Merits who had a crush on the main character. Both characters are ones that I wouldn't mind seeing more development for.

It's 2017. You can call them black people now.
