her condition.

If you want to be taken seriously, you have to be a serious person.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

A lot of these require a second or third watch. I noticed a few like in the arcade when the geeky guy asked her to play the racing game and she flinched.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

LOL, or when Kelly crashed her car off the road and onto the beach when she was taking Yorkie back to her house and then cracked up at the look on Yorkie's face. XD On the rewatch, that cracked me the hell up! Yorkie wasn't freaked over the accident as much as that was probably really a 'WTF?!?! AM I EVER GOING TO GET LAID??? SERIOUSLY?'look. Bwahahaha!

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

Jesus, calm down.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

The first song that comes on when Yorkie tries different outfits is "Gitlfriend In a Coma" by The Smiths.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

^ Nice catch.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

Ohand, I agree with OP. And this was the best episode EVER. Omfg, I laughed, cried, and then rewatched it. If I ran the Universe, White Bear and San Junipero would be real. ?

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

Her having paper-white skin despite living in sunny California. Though to be fair that's my inner Sherlock playing up, I won't get started on the marks on her neck or the green dust on her shins. Probably because I just made those bits up.

Well, to be fair, she lived in Santa Rosa, Northern California, and it can be pretty overcast. It's not like LA.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

Yeah, I forget US states are the size of countries. I remember back as a youngling chatting to an American online who mentioned skiing in California and my mind almost crashed, I then discovered that the Sierra Nevada isn't actually a car made by Ford as I somehow thought.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

HAHA. Yeah. I used to work in the UK with Scots and Brits primarily and there was not a one of them who was not gobsmacked the first time they actualkly tried to drive somewhere on a trip to the US.

I told a lad one time, who was moaning about the drive from Glasgow to Aberdeen, that you could fit almost 9 Scotlands in Texas. He sort of got it but not really.

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

I lived in FL for 9 years and never tanned. I got plenty of sun poisoning, though. Some people just don't tan.

Max Headroom's dialogue as yorki walks by in the opening.
"Am i dreaming?"
"No."
"Where am i?"

Re: I love all the subtle clues in San Junipero regarding Yorkie and

A nice one: When Yorkie and Kelly are dancing for the first time, and Yorkie has a bit of a panic attack. As she detaches from the room for a moment, the hiss of a respirator is heard. It's very low-key on first viewing, I didn't take it in. Second viewing, it's unmistakable.
