The Wonder Years : Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

I was right around Kevin Arnold's age the whole time this show ran and watched religiously. Maybe I forgot, or maybe I just didn't notice. However, after watching this a lot on Netflix lately Winnie really treated Kevin like garbage. He was a nice kid, and cool at the same time especially as he got older. She was constantly dumping him for other dudes though. Kevin should have went for Madeline or figured out a way to make things with Cara because Winnie didn't deserve him.

Re: Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

I just started watching this on Netflix. I thought Winnie and Kevin were so cute when I saw this as a kid. Now I'm just like "What the hell? Winnie is such a jerk! What does Kevin see in her!?" -.-

Re: Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

Exactly

Re: Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

Lol, I was in love with Kevin and hated Winnie like fire! I used to daydream about appearing in an episode where he fell hard for me - and of course Fred Savage would fall for me in real life... *sigh*

Re: Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

I don't really think Kevin was that nice of a kid. To be honest he comes off as a super brat...

Re: Looking back at things, Winnie treated Kevin like total garbage

I'm watching it for the first time now, and I think the exact opposite. Kevin is always acting like a jerk to Winnie, as if she should automatically be in love with him just because he likes her. If I was Winnie I would have stopped talking to Kevin when he wouldn't stop bothering her during season 2.
