Hellgate : You people just don't get it….This movie was awesome.

Its your fault if you expected a quality flick here. Take it for what it is. The movie is so bad in so many ways that its hilarious. Its entertainingly bad. In otherwords. Its so bad that its good.

Totally agree! I just watched this for the first time and LOVED it! It is incredibly BAD, but OH SO GOOD!

I thought it was unique & I liked the funny lines near the end of the movie along w/the special effects.

Oh man, I love bad movies and knew when I rented it (and eventually bought it) that it was terrible. Truthfully though, I think it has it's fun moments but it's still filled with a ton of boring garbage. I thought the scenes involving the John Astin looking father were great with that crystal thing from the mine. And Abigail Wilcott was nice on the eyes. But the movie seems to continually fizzle out throughout the film making it fairly disappointing. I remember the ending was particularly a big disappointment. It's definitely a movie that needs a lot of alcohol for viewing pleasure.



I'm just a guy that likes horror flicks.

It had enough silliness, cheesiness, and W.T.F. moments to make it mildly amusing for me.

I know I certainly wasn't expecting a good movie.

I thought the special effects were good, and near the end there were some funny comments, but overall, I rated it a 7 based on the uniqueness of the story and the special effects, I thought, were actually cool.

It's definitely NOT the worst movie.

That award goes to "Midnight Matinee." Talk about an awful movie!

I think more could've been done with the ghost town itself.

Absolutely agree. This is near the top of the heap of "bad" films for me. Hilarious from start to finish. Much funnier than most intentional comedies. Fantastic.
