The Fly II : Magic Word

Magic Word

I know there's no way Seth's son could've ever known the conversations from the first movie but I found myself secretly hoping the magic word ( password ) in the second movie would be 'cheeseburger'.

Re: Magic Word

XD

I'm riding an elephant to your house. I'll see you at six.

Re: Magic Word

That would have been priceless XD

HAHAHAH! Best thing I've read all year.

Re: Magic Word

I believe Martin choose dad as the password, because Seth Brundle was his father and it was he who invented the Telepods.

OH REALLY?

Re: Magic Word

What else?

Re: Magic Word

Martin made the password 'Dad' because of either Seth or Bartok.

Re: Magic Word

And he never really had a dad.

Re: Magic Word

I think it's pretty obvious that the password is "dad" because Seth Brundle, Martin's dad, invented the telepods. It has nothing to do with Bartok "adopting" him.

Re: Magic Word

Remember the scene where Bartok does the coin trick and tells little Martin that "I want you to think of me— as your dad."

Re: Magic Word

And Bartok didn't think *dad* was the password.

Re: Magic Word

It was a bit ironic though that he was using Bartok's hands to type the word 'dad', after he asked him to think of him as dad and then treated him like crap.

Re: Magic Word

It was because of Bartok not Seth Brundle. Bartok called him son and told him to think of him as his father.
