I dont watch music award shows but I caught snippets of this on Youtube.

I saw heavy religious themes and cultural symbolism but I thought the whole thing was rather over-the-top. Very pretty and creative but also ridiculous? Trippy and cool but pretentious. Beyonce is one with LOTS of ego and the bragging has become more pronounced with time. Other singers like Celine and Whitney were talented and rich. They never told anyone to 'bow down'. They never bragged about their millions. Now, Beyonce's pregnant and behaves as though shes Gaia reincarnate, about to birth the messiah.
Every songstress has ego but this was kind of unprecedented in terms of diva moments. Shes undone even Madonna.
