Rian Johnson : Should he direct/write Star Wars VII?

I like Johnson, but I feel SW is out of his style. Also, I want him to tackle more original projects.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

I've been really impressed with Rian Johnson for a while. Looper was fantastic in my opinion, and I was happy that he turned what could've been a very average blockbuster into an intelligent, clever film with fantastic visuals. He's a real original. I feel that he's at a turning point in his career, much like Christopher Nolan pre-Batman Begins. I'm disappointed he's being attached to a franchise - aside from the fact that I'm not really a Star Wars fan at all, I really think he should continue doing original projects, as I think he's capable of continuing to make films at the same high level.
