Goodfellas : What? So Henry Hill Didn't Kill Anybody Himself?

I always wondered if we are supposed to believe from the movie that Hill never personally killed anyone despite being buddies with other guys who committed multiple murders.
Anyway, there is this interesting Wiki entry about Hill:

"Hill, who was a frequent guest on The Howard Stern Show and had previously claimed to have never killed anyone, admitted on the show to having ordered by Vario (Cicero in the movie) to kill three people, which he says he did comply with."

Apparently Hill felt he would be in legal jeopardy if he as an advisor to the movie indicated that the movie Henry Hill could have killed anyone. Since the movie fictionalized the aftermath of Lufthansa I don't that if the movie showed the fictional Hill killing somebody that could be taken as an admission of guilt. I did not see it in the theater but I do not recall anything in the opening about Goodfellas being a true account of the Vario (Cicero) Crew. Most movies based on real people or events fictionalize to a small degree to make the product more appealing to a mass audience. I would have thought if the movie did show Henry killing someone that the real Henry if approached by the law would have dismissed it as Scorcese jazzing up the film.

I just listened to an interview on Stern where he said he killed 2, not 3. So I think it's just as likely he killed nobody as it is he killed somebody.

It's doubtful that Hill killed nobody. It would be too easy to turn state's evidence if there was a low risk of any substantial jail time for that person. Hill was never going to be made but the mafia would still want men such as Hill to have their hands dirty to keep guys such as Hill in line. I would bet that HH killed at least one person before he turned 20 years old.

Also there is always an agreement for immunity where you turn over EVERYTHING right then to the FBI. If anything is wrong or left out, immunity is revoked. Also the prosecutor even said later Henry probably should have at least gotten a little jail time. If there was a murder involved, there is no way Henry Hill gets off scott free.

SO Henry had additional reason to lie about not killing anybody both in the original immunity agreement and again later after he trials were over.
