an alien??? a demon??? or a creature born from the pollution of sewers???

Who knows. The movie, while entertaining, was a sloppy mess. I chalk it up to demonic being.

I have read it was going to be a demon but they wanted to imply it was a man possessed by a demon, I think original it was going to be a man with supernatural powers in the future but the movie the first power had that idea
