That's a very bold thing to claim about yourself.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

No. I hate it with the level of hatred I reserve for child molesters and people who park across two spots.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

I loved it.

I thought the show within a show was really inspired and actually elevated the tension for me.

It was awesome how the real ghosts were that much more terrifying than their television counter-parts. It created an expectation where these specters were simply apparitions of their former selves. I love how they made them ghouls and the korean family had that asian ghost movie look.

The scene with the Butcher arriving behind Kathy Bates was so cool, because you got to see how the hollywood interpretation was and how the real Butcher was almost demonic look.

I only wish we could have seen the Scathach forest sprite.

I also both liked and hated Lee. I eventually came to dislike her. The actress playing her though was very likable.

What I did think was lacking was Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Evan Peters. Sarah Paulson was great during the first half of the season, but her British character was just extremely obnoxious and I felt a bit unrealistic, which felt counter intuitive with the real life scenario, but perhaps that was part of her intention. I also felt this way about Evan Peters and Angela Basset. They felt really lackluster, with Lily Rabe being a bit one dimensional. Andre Holland did a great job as well as Kathy Bates, but she's hardly ever off her game.

Can't wait for next season.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

You know your name is Terrific but I'm doubting whether or not you actually are.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

Uninspiring, boring and frustrating. The first few episodes seemed to be fine, but later on the whole thing became a total mess. I do believe that this was the worst season ever and honestly I'm looking forward to season 7, because it can't be that bad, unless they lobotomize the writer in the meantime.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

No. I think it's turned me off the show for good.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

I loved and continue to love every season of this show, including Roanoke.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

So far, yes. It's scary so I'm only going to watch it in the daytime. I just finished the second episode and I love the miracle wallpaper that just peels off. But it's still scarier than the other seasons. Hotel is my favorite season.

I hated it

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

its actually darn good until those tacked on, needless last two episodes

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

I wouldn't necessarily say I loved it,but I did like it.Finale was a bit weak though. Still a marked improvement over Hotel.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

No.

Was completely on board during the first six episodes. Sure, those episodes had their ups and downs, but they were still a vast improvement over the last few seasons. Truly enjoyed the execution of the format twist in episode six. But episode seven to the finale was just one big decline in quality (thank goodness for Audrey and Monet, because I would have completely checked out if not for them). The finale was a m-e-s-s and soured everything before it. Sorry for the elaborate answer, but I had to vent.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

I loved it from start to finish.

The people knocking on it can feel free to go run into rush hour traffic.

Re: Do you love ROANOKE or not?

I agree with mgreen. People who don't share my specific individual opinion on things should all commit suicide.
