Not really, but who knows? He did call them 'moi petite enfants' affectionately in this movie, but he was being a dick since he ignored his sister-in-law who said that the shrimps were for later.

On the plane in HA he's bossing his wife into stealing the silver salt & pepper shakers. He's rudely telling the flight attendant to fill up his champagne glass. He's a stingy old prick.

Plus during the "give this to Kevin" scene, he was the only one that wouldn't take the bag and pass it.

Yeah, this always confirmed to me that he's an asshole. This and the scene in the first movie when he receives the pizza, the delivery guy asks him who's gonna pay and he arrogantly says "oh it's my brother's house."
He seems like the kind of guy who never pay for others but is always happy to take advantage of other people who pay for him. I knew people like that. No matter how much you give to them, they will never give back. They just take and take.
And if it was only that. No, he dares saying these kind of scumbag statements like if he was more important band deserves a better treatment. He should simply stfu.
