I'm a big slot car fan and collector. Mostly HO scale. This movie has tons of slot car racing and emotion. After work the guys race on a beautiful 4-6 lane layout. Worth renting for the racing, but the story is good too; keep in mind that it's 21 years old and is set even earlier.

I remember slot cars from the 60s, about the time of this movie. there was the H O scale than another larger scale, like in the movie.

They were very popular here in the states also, Not as popular as in the movie, with state championships, but in garages and basements
