Cold Blooded : Quick preview clip.

Turning into a big fan of Zoie Palmer, so I'd been looking forward to this anyway, but the preview here has definitely caught my attention.

(Refraining from an "arresting" pun as yet, but the threat remains.)

Like the look a lot, enjoy the Danny Boyle-ish pragmatic violence, and the neat premise. It seems like nowadays, a lot of North American movies either shy away from realistic gore even when it would make sense, or totally rely on it like Saw, so that was kind of refreshing.

Looks to be in the vein of the thrillers John Carpenter used to make, back when he was good. You don't see many of that breed in English anymore, which is a shame. Also invites a clear comparison to Denmark's Nightwatch, which is by no means a bad thing.

Anyway, yeah, will certainly be keeping an eye out for this.

I saw the premeire screening last week at a film festival. It got so intense some guy in the audience went into an epileptic seizire.

As far as I know, it's still just doing a couple of preview screenings in Canada and prolly going to be doing the rounds at film festivals. I'm keeping an eye out though.

It was better than The Samaritan which still stunk even though it starred Samuel L. Jackson.
