Teen Mom 2 : So where is everyone going?

When they shut down the boards has anyone decided where they're going? I've browsed a couple of the various links that people have shared and the only one I really liked is https://www.themoviedb.org/ but none of the shows I've searched so far have any topics posted yet. I like the setup of it though because it seems really similar to IMDB.

Reddit is where it's at. Reminds me of IMDB. Same posts, same funny comments.

I've been pretty happy at Reddit so far. Took some getting used to, but it's really busy and it's great to read all the comments.

I browsed it a little but I didn't care for it. I don't really like that they lump all the teen mom / 16 and pregnant shows together.

I think I might be going to themoviedb. I don't care about Reddit.

I liked themoviedb too. Reddit is just too much for me and it seems like I'd just get lost trying to navigate around there to find any IMDB.COM regulars. The Teen Mom board on themoviedb doesn't have any topics yet but maybe a bunch of people from here can go over there and post.

That's what I'm hoping.

I'm just so lost. I feel like somebody just told me that I have to move to Korea in a couple weeks and that i suddenly HAVE NO CHOICE but to navigate and learn KoreanI'm a very easy, simple person when it comes to technology and websites. Idk what I'm going to do without IMDb.

Yes I feel the same way? but maybe more because when I read that they were going to turn the Boards off it felt to me like it was a death of someone close to me. And yes now I have to learn something new and move out of IMDb. Goodbye my good friend for all these years

It seems so crazy that they are shutting off the Boards. I go to IMDb to find out all the background information as well as the insights and comments of particular items one would never have known. Is there a petition to get the Boards to stay?

I agree! If all of us (or at least a bunch of us) go over there it won't feel much different!

Word! I've been hoping the last couple of weeks here will have let us find a place many will join. At least the IMDb experience for the Teen Mom franchise can have a chance of staying relatively unchanged.

I can't get into Reddit! I am going to miss these message boards so much it's my favorite time waster and I get so much information from shows like this to movies to just hearing others discuss oldies like Golden Girls.

It's depressing the world seems glad that the boards are closing. When I google it there isn't any evidence of people being disappointed about it closing! It's weird because the board are so busy!

I was thinking just the other day about how long we've all been here. Piggy Toes has her baby son now & Blonde Angel has had 3 children since we've been here. No clue where I will go next.

It's crazy how long we've been here. I've been browsing the boards since around 05 or 06, and started posting here when I was pregnant with my oldest. It's gonna be sad to see everything shut down. Hopefully we can get enough of us over at the other movie database site that things will stay interesting.

It's been a long time. I had so many life changes on here. Lost my dad suddenly, really became a single mom(meaning not having my mom always present) learned how to be an adult. My kids were so little and my daughter is almost done with her 1st year of high school. It's like losing our coffee house :(

Well sometimes I have the feeling I can do crystal meth, but then I think, mmm better not.

Crazy how time flies! We all definitely need to meet up on the other site.

I'm not kidding by saying the set up is just the same.

Downside is the only two shows they have individual pages for are the walking dead and game of thrones.

Some folks said to go to Reddit.com for the TM board. But I don't want a website for just one show. I searched for some other shows there - The Sopranos, for example - they do not exist there.

Try the movie db that I linked to in the original post. They have individual pages for each tv show. The downside is that none of the shows I watch have any discussions yet but hopefully if we can spread the link around people will join. If nothing else at least we can have the teen mom board to continue our discussions.

themoviedb.org is the best!

It's easy to follow, and I love the format, which allows up to create subheadings.
