Teen Mom 2 : Sucks that people think somethings wrong w/ Cole cuz hes not an a$$hole

WTF??? He's a nice guy and loves Chealsea and her kid. A kid that's not his. Davids a controlling dumbass, Adams an a$$hole. Now those two, they are the ones with something wrong with them. Not Cole. I think it's pretty awesome that Chelsea waited patiently for the perfect guy to come along. She didn't hop in bed and have a baby with the next guy that smiled at her like her idiot costars. Nothing's wrong with Cole. There really are just simple sweet guys like Cole. He wants to get married and is happy about his first baby. Nothing more. Nothing less. I'm happy for Chels and Cole.

I've been thinking the same thing with all these Cole posts showing up saying he's slow or stupid or robotic or whatever. Maybe he just happened to fall for a girl that had her life on camera and wasn't completely comfortable with it and needs to adjust. He seems like a great guy and and good father figure for Aubs. So what if he's not a showstopper on camera, he's treating the women is his life right.

I like him, I just think maybe he is not too comfortable when the camera's are around and maybe that is why he comes off as a bit awkward sometimes. It probably is not easy when a Teen mom show crashes in your lap out of nowhere.

That should've been my response to the user that said Adam was right that Chelsea is living in her own little world. Instead, I said: Adam is just jealous. He has nothing and Chelsea finally has what she's wanted for so long.

She's clearly just f-ing happy (she has every right to be) and Adam is jealous of that, which is super obvious.

During yesterday's ep # 18 - They quickly showed Adam and a new girl at Aubree's t-ball game and then back to Chelsea. Chelsea starts jogging the other way. I thought she was going to tell her Dad, but nope! Cole had showed up and she was jogging to greet him. Adam who?!

Adam isn't jealous. He never loved Chelsea, she was on his dick for years. It's clear he has no interest in her or the show.

I agree. It annoys me too when people say that Chelsea's storyline is boring. She's NORMAL. It might not make for good TV, but Trashy cheating on your husband (Kail), 3rd baby Daddy; 4 if you count the abortion; (Jenelle), or druggie (Leah) Yeah, Chelsea is boring because it's all cleaning the house, taking her daughter to Tball, etc. Good for her!

Cole has never struck me as effeminate or roboticbut a guy that enjoys his life, has a normal job, cares about fitness, and takes care of himself (CRAZY lol). However, he does seem like a bit of a doormat. That could just be him not comfortable with asserting himself on camera though.

I love Cole!! I will admit at first I thought he was a little odd but he totally grew on me. I think he is just weird in front of the cameras. I'm truly so happy for Chelsea. She was treated like crap for so many years by Adam. To be around someone like Cole must be so great for her. She is my fave teen mom in the franchise and I want to see the rest of her life!

Exactly! I kind of think anyone who seems super comfortable in front of cameras, especially right away, is probably a very strange person in every day life.

I think the knocks on Cole are more about how at times Chelsea still talks in a "baby voice" and Cole doesn't say anything like "can we talk like adults". So, I think that's what annoys people at Cole. That people nitpick Chelsea (really, if the baby voice is the only flaw with her recently, then that's a nitpick in my book)is a reflection of what Cole puts up with. Although, he does act (at least on camera) like he might be a tad slow. But there is nothing wrong with that.

But overall, Cole seems like a decent caring guy and him and Chelsea do seem like a very good match together.

Yeah, I always thought the shade people were throwing early on (or at least snickering at) was Cole has looks that do not match that voice, especially when he baby-talks along with Chelsea. I guess I've missed more recent criticisms about Cole.

He seems like a sweet guy who wants the same things Chelsea does. In the beginning, I did wonder about their compatibility, but I think it had to do with Cole adjusting to being on screen. He seems really normal. The guy kept working, despite new MTV money, he has become a really good father figure to Aubree, and he seems to adore Chelsea. I think she rules the roost but she doesn't ever seem demanding or like a diva, and if the dynamic works for Cole, cool. Mostly, it seems like they have a relationship based on respect and commonalities.

exactly!!! I for one LOVE seeing their segments. So what if its boring. That is a goood thing imo. They are happy and normal. wtf is wrong with that.

That's exactly what Chelsea wants. She said she's wants a boring life. I think she is the one who has learned The most from the other girls on not what to do. Which is why I think after watching the other girls and all they do, go through, put up with, etc has helped her realize what she does and does not want in life. And it has nothing do with the way jenelles life is
