What are the chances that a newspaper that gets printed that day or day before, makes it all the way over to Malasia, just in time for the judge to happen to read it just before he makes his decision?

The news was printed in the Asian International Herald and the judge didn't know of it's existance until the clerk informed him that the secretary of the interior had read it. The judge only got the newspaper while he was trying to decide the sentance.
