Mark Hamill : His wife is a total witch

I saw Mark in LAX after he came back from London. There were a lot of fans waiting to get autographs, which he was trying to do, but his witch wife kept pulling him, telling him "let's go."

Hey, your husband just made you a lot of money and it's the fans who are the reason you live the good life, so allow him to give back a little you witch.

Hey both he and his wife have lives to live, just because you like his acting does not mean you "deserve" his autograph or any of his time. So allow him to live his life without being hassled by annoying fans like you.

Boo-hoo. Maybe if you had been respectful instead of mobbing him like a pack of wild animals, she wouldn't have escorted him away. If I feared for my husband's safety, I'd do the same.

Wow OP, really? Like everyone else here said, he is NOT obligated to give anyone an autograph. You saw him at the airport, he probably just wants to get the hell out of there and go home, what did you expect? And isn't that invading privacy of someone? To wait for them when they come home from a trip like that at the airport? I'm surprised security didn't kick you out! How would you like it if people hounded you when you were coming home from an exhausting overseas flight? I always read stories how on one occasion someone wants attention/picture/autographs from a celebrity out in the wild, they don't abide, and then the fan gets pissed off and trash talks them about what a horrible person they are.

Mark Hamill is just human, and acting is his job, just like the rest of us have jobs. I'm sure he appreciates his fans and wealth Star Wars has bought him. But you have to understand that Mark Hamill, probably more than any other sci fi actor, he probably the most "nerdgasm" worthy actor out there with the largest fan base. He's Luke Skywalker! He probably gets the most stereotypical fans out there that crave his attention. You are but one in probably tens of thousands of people that have waited somewhere to get his autograph or something. And I'm sure that gets VERY exhausting to him over 30 years. What makes you so5b4 special?

You also know that part of his revenue and business is in conventions? If you want his autograph, you're going to have to go through the official channels; you will have to go to one of the conventions out there, most likely comicon is where you would meet Mark Hamill. I hear his autographs are very expensive, and if anything they probably cost even more now that he is in SW again. But at least you would get to meet him in an environment where he is meeting and greeting fans face to face. I don't like that celebs charge for autographs these days but at the very least you would know you have a guaranteed chance to meet him and you will always know that you have his original autograph and you seen him physically sign it in front of your eyes. And they usually let you bring anything to sign; eg. a toy, prop, action figure.

I would recommend a convention. I'm sure if you met him at one of those you would cherish the memory and autograph forever. Also I do hear he is a pretty cool guy, you will probably get to briefly speak with him and shake his hand. He's not evil, he just doesn't want to be bothered out in public when he's with his family.

Fans also realize that the performer they admire have a family and they give him/her their privacy. He has a duty first of all the his family and second, to us the fans. That is how things are. You need to have more respect for marriage and family.
