Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi : What if Han IS Rey's father, but…

Re: What if Han IS Rey's father, but…

Maybe she is so strong because she could be a Skywalker and a Kenobi
Just playing devil's advocate here (as I don't think being so serves any purpose) but she could potentially just be a Kenobi, as far as her powers go.

As per JJ abrams' comments, she only defeated Kylo after pausing mid-battle to "download" her full force powers. This is something different to what has ever happened before, so her strength doesn't necessarily have to be due to combining strong bloodlines.

The skills she displays prior to that could just be as a result of a (comparatively) moderate force lineage.

The truth about Marti Pellow

Re: What if Han IS Rey's father, but…

Exactly. She does not need to be a Skywalker to be "powerful". Many characters have been stronger than Luke, such as Obi-Wan "I occupy the high ground" Kenobi.

Re: What if Han IS Rey's father, but…

Nope. Did you even watch the movie? She is NOT a Skywalker.

Please no.
