Ahahha. I love Danny. If John Carpenter said he was blown away by this idea then im optimistic. I just hope Danny doesnt play a main character cuz i would just laugh every time i see him. Cant take him seriously.

Maybe he's a bigger fan of horror than I thought? I know he's a big fan of Alien and stars in the upcoming Alien prebootquel(?). Will be interesting to see how he fares in something serious (although maybe as a the comic relief?).

This is semi-interesting. Green is a better choice than some slick purely studio hack. I've never watched any of his movies and can't say without watching them whether they're as bad/average as they look. Even though he has become a director of comedies that look pretty lame, he started his career making what I think were more serious and acclaimed movies.

I agree that Green is an interesting choice.

His first three movies were his best, I think. But his third Undertow is my favorite. Really underrated movie too.

Green has talent in drama, but this is an odd coupling.

Green has mostly done dramas and a few comedies like Your Highness. But directors who are new to the genre have made some classics, like Ridley Scott and Alien.

Looking at his list of credits, its hard to predict what approach he'll take.

This could prove to be interesting and both are talented. Fresh eyes on the franchise is what halloween needs
