The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers : The Warg Attack

I always thought that was one of the best scenes in this film. It was also shown in the previews on TV for the theatrical release 14 years ago. The people of Rohan are vulnerable as they're traveling to Helm's Deep with women and children and then the attack happens.

There's panic, of course, and then a rush to escape, but the soldiers of Rohan, along with Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, stampede forward in their horses to combat the Wargs and goblins. That was a brave moment. Chivalry at its finest. The clash against both armies was unforgettable too.

My favorite shot of the film is Legolas firing that first arrow at the Wargs (who are offscreen) as the Rohan horsemen charge up behind him.

Probably among the best 3 battle scenes in the whole trilogy.
