The Twilight Zone : "You Drive"

I'm catching up on TZ episodes on Netflix and I can't believe I've never seen this episode before. For all the marathons I have seen, I've never seen this one. It was really good and I was at the edge of my seat the whole entire time. I see where the inspiration from "Christine" came from.

I've always liked this one as well.

My memory of this epsisode is a little foggy. Was this the episode where the man's car chases him because he missed his 3000 mile oil change. Jk. It's a great episode. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shots in the neighborhood. Seeing those wet streets in the empty suburban neighborhood set up a nice scene.

No, this is the one where the main character hits a child on his way home from work. The child ends up dying, so the car starts acting up (i.e. the car has a conscience!)

Which may explain why I've never seen it before.

It rarely makes it in the every day rotation either. I get a lot of days off of work (I'm a teacher). I've never seen or heard of this one.

Edward Andrews is one of my all-time favorite character actors, so I like this episode. Very well written and acted.

A fun episode in that Andrews is literally driven up to the police station! This is not a regular on syfy. It's seemingly less known than others perhaps because it doesn't get enough love on the channel. Which is why having the series catalogue is a must for TZ fans.
