Re: Most underrated episode?

I don't know if this episode is disliked persay, but I never hear much about "Spur of the Moment". Something about the way that episode is shot and the woman's shrill shrieks on the horse always gave me the creeps. If something creeps me out like that, it gets my attention :). Plus I just like the interesting little twist of the love triangle story

Re: Most underrated episode?

I don't like Spur of the Moment because I think the opening scene gives away some of the impact. But the twist is interesting. Still it is very depressing.

I'd say Person or Persons Unknown. I don't hear many people talk about that episode. It seems to get lost among the others but I think it's brilliant! Looking forward to watching it tomorrow with everyone else!

Re: Most underrated episode?

Lol, that was the other episode I was going to mention. It's a great one!

Re: Most underrated episode?

Yes it is. I thought the acting was amazing and the twist at the end was even more amazing. Loved it!

It's clever, and I like Richard Long, but I find it frustrating to watch. It upsets me to watch stories in which someone is telling the truth but no one believes him.

Re: Most underrated episode?

I really like 'Dead Man's Shoes', but I don't think I've ever even seen it mentioned. Plus, its the only episode to have appeared in all three series.

Re: Most underrated episode?

The Grave. Atmospheric, haunting, ambiguous ending. I love that episode.

Re: Most underrated episode?

Five Characters in Search of an Exit. I use to hate this episode when i was younger. When i watched it years later i really soaked in the dialouge. I guess being older i understood more of having feelings of who am i, and questioning my existence. I find this episode very philosophical now.

Re: Most underrated episode?

I totally agree. There were episodes that I saw as a child that didn't impact me the same way as when I saw again as an adult. Life experiences and a mature adult mind and philosophy will do that to you.

Re: Most underrated episode?

The Fever...when a married couple win a trip to Vegas and a certain slot machine starts calling out to the husband.

Re: Most underrated episode?

Thinking of it because it's on now - Two. Nice little metaphor in the story (not sure "allegory" would hold up) about 1 person left on each side of WWIII. Interesting that it's played by two well-known actors.

An aside: never saw Elizabeth Montgomery as necessarily "sexy", until I saw Two. Man, her thighs....mmmm

Re: Most underrated episode?

An Occurrence at Owl Creek- simply haunting. I know it wasn't produced by Rod Serling, but the imagery was beautiful and heartbreaking.

Re: Most underrated episode?

Such a great episode! Like you said hauntingly beautiful.

Re: Most underrated episode?

Brain Center at Whipple's & Mr Garrity and the Graves from the last season I think are latter season pleasures that suffer from falling into a lengthy show's dying period. Many might avoid them just because they are at the very end of a show considered ailing...

Re: Most underrated episode?

I'm the only person I know who likes "What You Need". It's just an episode I enjoy, although I notice that Syfy butchered it the other day by cutting the entire final scene with the comb.

That's easy. "The Bewitchin' Pool". We have hearty discussions on both sides, but most people simply do not like this episode. Personally, I enjoy it for the a lot of the reasons many do not. The bad over dubbing of Sport's voice by the great June Foray of Rocky Squirrel fame, etc. The curiosity that is Aunt T. The bickering parents (clearly the winners for the worst in Twilight Zone history) and oh man, I love love love those humongous cakes.

I think this was the last TZ episode aired.
