America's Next Top Model : What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

Does anybody actually know what the Vh1 prize entails? They're extremely vague about it, is this the first time the winner doesn't get a modelling contract?

Are they going to show up on other reality shows or get their own? Do commercials for Vh1? It would be nice to know.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

I guess they don't have VJs anymore. I would think it would be like a hosting role or correspondent of some kind, not a reality show. Or maybe they do get to develop their own showlike House of Style (MTV show from back in the day). I doubt that, because there would be too much involved.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

I don't think that it's that great of a prize, but at least it's exposure I guess. I would rather have a modeling contract with an agency or make up company.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

Yeah, but it's almost better without a modeling contract. More realistic, and really forces the winner to get out there and work for her success.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

And on top of that, the contracts that reality shows give out are usually so draconic you're better off without them.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

I feel that some girls that come, on this show, are given false hope. They leave thinking that just because they were on ANTM they will be automatically successful.

Re: What's the deal with the Vh1 prize?

Yeah, it'll be some kind of TV personality thing.
