American Horror Story : Evan Peters + Denis O'hare

Does anyone know if they have contracts with AHS?

I'm wondering if the writers were legally bound to include them even though they didn't really have a character for themIt's the only way I can rationalize them being credited as part of the main cast this season.

Not sure why they didn't include Denis O'Hare in the TDIH arc. He was the re-enactment actor, why not have them in the house? With the exception of Hotel, they always under use him which is unfortunate, because he is one of the best actors they have.

It was very convenient that the two spirits who could help them, Elias and Cricket, weren't able to show up. Why?

I think all the main regulars have signed multi season contracts. Angela Bassett said she had signed for this season after Coven. Which would explain her well acted but superfluous Ramona Royale in Hotel. She really didn't need to be there but included her any way.
