How many of you guys did movie reviews for IMDB? Are they still up? When was your most recent one?

My most recent one was from 2 months & before that, almost exactly 2 years earlier.

I've done a number of them but not for years. I don't know if the message board shut down will effect members' ability to post reviews. I hope not.

Yeah, I hope not either. In fact, what would even be the point of IMDB if those get taken down too.?

Well, the IMDb is a great source for movie, TV, and actor data.

I don't have any but check out bkoganbing's profile. He has made 12,854 of them! Mostly pre-1970 films. It appears he has made six today so far. Bruce knows more about old films than anyone I've ever known here.

I was just counting my movie reviews, & despite posting on IMDB for about 13 years, I have only made 7 in total.

Thought I made more, but, I didn't.

Apparently the only thing being affected are the message boards and the private messaging. So movie reviews and rating and lists will all be available. You just won't have the ability to communicate with other users.
