Hart to Hart : Why is Whispers in the Wings not being shown on Hallmark?

They skipped it twice now? Any reason?

I'm also curious about that. I thought my DVR missed it the first time around and now have noticed it didn't pick it up again!

I emailed them, doubt they will reply but who knows?

Likely the songs cost too much money to pay for?? I know this happens on DVD all the time but I thought on TV that reruns had different rules. Sometimes theme songs (like Bosom Buddies or Three's A Crowd) have been replaced but I never knew within an episode things to be a problem. DVD's again have different rules and higher fees for music clearance.

It sounds like a dire episode, but so was the modeling one with the song Fame played repeatedly.

Thank you for referencing that review, I'm the writer of that one! I rewatch these eps now and again, and I haven't seen that one in quite some time. I do remember it, though, and I really still think it was kind of awful. Some are worse, but they play, too. So, I do wonder if there is some truth to the copyright of the songs being an issue, I forget which songs were featured. But it could also be that this was a one-off kind of spinoff they were chem testing. I don't know, but it's very interesting. My local station, when it was playing on the equivalent of MeTV here, left out a few over and over again, too. As if they just didn't exist in the collection they had to play? I dunno, but again, it's awfully interesting, and I'd be interested to hear whatever response you get to your email!

I'm in Detroit and they just played that episode (not a fan of this one, either) on Monday, Sept. 21 on COZI-TV.

I think it is because of the songs. I noticed whenever a LOVE BOAT episode was skipped it always contained singing. TV shows have to pay to use songs.

update: My cousin has this episode on videotape, so I finally got to see it.Very thin plot, they did not even bother to reveal the name of the killer or go into detail about his backstory. His character did have a disguise ( rather bad one) and an alias. not much suspense, a lot of singing and dancing. Jennifer did not even seem bothered when the weirdo abducted her. Still, am glad to have seen it as I just love the sound of Robert Wagner's voice LOL

It's in the DVDs that come out this week so I'm interested to see how bad this really was!!!

Could it be the songs? I notice that happens on Netflix. There are missing episodes sometimes if there are songs.

It is just starting on Cozi (one of the local classic television show). First 10 minutes aren't too bad.
