Teen Mom 2 : Jenelle's Court Case
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Jenelle said Jessica came at her so she felt threatened and meant to just throw water in her face. If Jessica "came at her?" Then why did Jenelle then say the mason jar landed in her lap?? Jenelle is the idiot!
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Jenelle is full of feces.

And sperm
LOL good one..
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
I have no idea how that turned into a "not guilty". Jenelle obviously lied her ass off; didn't the judge even notice that?
And for the love of all that's holy: where did David steal that suit jacket? It's about eight sizes too small for him. It looks like he swiped it outta Tom Cruise's closet or something. Check it out from behind; it doesn't even touch his back pockets.

Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Hahaha Davids suit. I was laughing more about how they looked like twins in matching suits. Also, that jacket with the open collar is a look you wear to AC or Vegas NOT a courtroom.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Must be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The jury made the right call. We know better, having watched Teen Mom, but they're not allowed to consider anything but the evidence presented in court. Since the alleged victim had no injuries, and the defense counsel made a case that there was incentive to make false allegations against the accused, Jenelle could not be proven guilty.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
If I were the judge I would've been so angry that these apes were wasting my time. Jessica and Nathan need to get a grip and Jenelle needs a frontal lobe lobotomy.
Love is a losing game. One I wish I never played.

Re: Jenelle's Court Case
I wondered about that too. I'm not an expert on the court system, but I've never seen a sheriff act as an attorney before either. Maybe it's common at that level and I've just never seen a case. I was disappointed that they didn't show Jenelle getting cross examined.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
I was wondering about the cross examination too. Jessica said she was sitting in the car with the window down when Janelle and threw the jar at her and it landed on her lap. Then Jenelle said Jessica was walking toward her and she felt threatened and that's when she threw the jar and she said it landed on her lap. How can it land on her lap if she was walking?? I wish someone questioned her about that, to me she's guilty.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
It was a criminal case, not a civil one, meaning the state is pressing charges, not Jessica. The prosecutor represents the state, Jenelle was the accused, and Jessica acted as a witness.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
True, but there was no prosecuting attorney seen. It was a guy dressed like a deputy during direct which was odd to me. I'll have to see if I can find out what the deal is. Maybe in some states, some criminal cases have a deputy presiding. I know other things like the number of jurors can vary. Rather than the typical 12 with which most lay people are familiar, Jenelle's case had six. Hopefully I can find why there was no prosecutor seen. I almost thought the trial was a reenactment, but it seemed like the real deal.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
I always wonder what would happen if Jenelle would ever go into Judge Judy courtroom. Lol That would've been classic!
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Ha, true. Or Dr. Phil, she needs to be put in her place for once!
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Nathan is verbal abusive, I would not be at surprised if Janelle did in fact feel threatened being anywhere near them.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
I get that, but my problem is her lying in court. She claimed Jessica "came at her" so she threw the jar at her and it landed in her LAP. That is physically impossible
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
Right because if someone is coming towards you, they no longer have a lap lol. No way an animal like Chinelle felt threatened. I watched her beat the $hit out of some chick on camera when she was 17-18. Someone recorded it and put it online when season 1 was on.
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
If you are standing up and a mason jar hits your lap, it's going to FALL. It's not going to LAND. Jenelle said it landed in her lap as she was coming at her
Re: Jenelle's Court Case
They made just awful witnesses, especially Nathan. He did not remain calm. How could both say the custody battle was relevant to this case?!
Amy is a pretty darn good trial laywer, the way she went after their motives for the charges and how Nathan is a "button pusher." (Or as "Nate-anderthal" said, "button pressure.") She's gotten her money's worth defending Jenelle, that's for sure.
