Isn't it weird there's only one Aussie person on a plane leaving Australia?

There could have been many more that died in the crash or were among the survivors we never meet.

Also: (spoilers for season 5) Jacob manipulated who he wanted on that plane. There were exactly as many Australians as he wanted on there.

Well, 45 million people visited LA in 2016 as opposed to 15 million for Sydney. So yeah, not a good point.
