I win the honor of being the first woman to post about this movie. Its pure cheese, but well, my brother made me watch it was well as its predecessor and its sequal. Its existence leaked out of the obscure reccesses of my brain at 5:00 in the morning after a night of insomnia. Here's to blackploitation, the only things to laughable about any subject matter pertaining to prison, and the most godaweful performances in any film I have committed to watching. I did enjoy the fights though.I bet Ernie Hudson is glad we forgot this one. S-)

The whole movie was. That was some fun stuff.

I always assumed that he either beat her to death or strangled her in the process.

Actually, he stabbed Clarisse to death. If you look at his knife when he breaks down the door, it's stained with blood.

I don't he stabbed her to death it might had came from when he cut the bottom part of her bikini off. That's on the VHF version not the DVD. The director's commentary was much help either. It was never explained how she died. Is it humanly impossible to screw someone to death?

Its been a long time since the last time I saw this movie, but I thought I remembered seeing blood on her neck in the quick second they showed her face. Does anybody have the DVD to confirm this?

I have it on DVD.I just looked at it the other day. I rewind and zoom in on it several times. I didn't see any blood on her neck.

Was it on that last shot of her face, when she's laying there with her eyes open? I wonder if the cropping of the picture could have blocked it out. I'll check one too.

Aren't there scenes cut from the dvd. I distinctly remember Half Dead starting to kiss the girl on her neck before panning up to the shower head. God I hate when they cut for dvd's.

I'm with you jackson-219, I hate it when they cut scenes too, I never did understand why they do that. Yes, there was a scene when he is kissing her neck, breasts, cutting off her bikini, and taking down to the floor. I also thought she died from the bounding he was giving her, but nsavage3-1 was correct, he stabbed her in the main artery, and she bled to death, while he was still raping her. That was cut from the movie too.

People who saw this in the theatre say there was a scene where Half Dead covered her mouth and stabbed her. She bled to death while he raped her.

Someone from youtube said the novel is even more graphic. Half Dead raped her standing up, then he sat on the toilet and forced her to sit on top of him. He then dragged her to the floor, raped her from behind, then dragged her in the shower, flipped her legs back, and continued to rape her. She couldn't take it anymore, and that's when Dead covered her mouth and stabbed her.

he stabbed her. it was edited out. when they showed it in the theater that scene was longer and he also used the knife cut open her top that exposed her breasts. after he stabbed her he continued to have sex with her until Too Sweet knocked on the door.

Wow, that's pretty disgusting. I gotta wonder how the director went from making the original "Penitentiary," which is actually a great prison movie/boxing movie, to this piece of crap sequel. I guess the success of the first film went to his head.
