Just because it doesn't have gore and it didn't scare you doesn't mean it's not a horror movie. There's a killer in a creepy mask, killing people one by one in an isolated setting. That's enough to make it part of the horror genre.

It's like a Canadian version of an Italian giallo, so it's definitely a horror film.

First I saw this in the movie theater in 1983. Me and my posse saw the scary TV commercial and RAN to the theater to see this! Wow did we hate it. So boring....talky.... poor melodrama ...... " Who is Audra?"...yawn.
I cannot BELIEVE how much acclaim this gets on here...... Like "Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane" ANOTHER Canadian movie with trailers and promotion making you THINK it's a horror movie but it's not. Sorry guys.
