Hellraiser: Revelations : It was good

The only thing I found wrong with The film was the acting
Besides that it was a good film , and I'm happy that it is actually attempting to
be like the first 2 hellraisers film

I agree with what one reviewer said in that the fans doomed this movie before it was even made. Yeah, it had it's problems, but it is one of the strongest of the late Hellraiser entries. I enjoyed it thoroughly having low expectations, and it clearly exceeded them.

The studio passing the blame for this film onto the fans is just appalling behaviour. Where these "fans" that were supposedly clamouring for a some hackjob to be rushed into production? Perhaps that would be the same fans so affectionately portrayed in Hellworld? This film was damaged by a terrible script, a crippling schedule and a tiny budget, all factors in the producer's control.

It is by far one of the worst horror movies ever made. The acting sucks, the budget is crap and Doug Bradley's replacement is so awful.

You're manipulating the context in which Barker said that. Neither Barker nor Bradley has said a word about the quality of the film. Barker was just pissed that the advertising copy made it appear as though he were a part of the production.

After looking at the ratings and reading reviews and just the general knowledge that sequels aren't the best, I passed this movie up for a few months.
I like the first two. Didn't dig the rest after.
But today I thought I'd give it a shot. Whatever.
Wow, this movie proves that fans are hardcore dic ks. This movie isn't great by any means. It's not even good. But it's not "the worst movie ever made" as mentioned in half of every fan review.
The acting sucks, yeah. But it's not the absolute worst Hollywood has shelled out. Get used to it. The store, not the best, but it definitely isn't the worst of the Hellraiser mythology. The effects aren't bad. They're what you should expect from a sequel of a story that began over two decades ago and that wasn't really that popular. Hellraiser is more of a cult horror as apposed to typical Hollywood slashers.

Fact is, it's a half decent story, decent effects, with bad acting. A solid 4.5/10.
