Lethal Weapon 2 : What music instrument is used for the theme of the villains in this one?

Because the mixture of Vorstted's and Riggs' music themes during the fight scene at the end is amazing.

I found a review of the soundtrack that describes it as a marimba (a vibraphone styled instrument).
